Way cool, but with that kind of asking price I think I would spend the money on a Carrera GT. I was watching some YouTube footage on those the other day and just about fell in love with it's 10 cylinder 600+ hp "voice".

There is a "make an offer" option...you never know
Jeff!!!!!!!!!! Long time sir. When last we heard from you, a new to you BMW was replacing your 930 as daily driver. Did you sell the 930?

Nope I still have both!!!! LOL! But I"m going through "the change"...yep, insert the "D word", here: (DIVORCE), so look for my turbo to be listed for sale...SOON! I just finished sealing up the cam boxes and resetting the cam timing and adjusting the valves...so she'll be just right for the next owner!

Make no bones about it, folks, the BMW will NEVER be as exciting to drive as the Turbo...NEVER! But it seems to fit this next stage in my life pretty well!

Ah...and here I was thinking that you had perhaps found a way to keep both cars. I sure wouldn't want to use mine as a daily.
Sorry to hear about 'the change'...whatta pain in the arse. Hang in there man.

I hear what you're saying, but I guess it boils down to the history and the pedigree!! Believe me, after taking "a ride around the block" when I was in Porsche sales, I found a new appreciation for the CGT (and "super" cars in general)!!!! But there is something special about this era in motor-car history! This car is a "beast" of different proportions!!!!

Jeff - c'mon man....it was a cold, wet, nasty winter here, so I had to pull the motor and play. I am freshening up the motor (split the case too) and will be putting it up for sale in late spring.
So you bought a BMW. I just bought a C300 Sport and although not as adrenaline packed as the 930, its a blast to drive even with a 3.0L and 7sp auto. Those freakin' Germans know how to build great cars. |

Jeff, I was just thinking of you today while working on my car. Sorry about the D, selling the car and hope all turns out well. I might be right behind you one day if I don't start making some money.

Hey Jeff -
Good to hear from you! Sorry about the Big D, or happy for you, if you're like me. Mine was just finalized a couple months ago. Life goes on, for the better. Good luck with that! Your BMW looks sweet! Take care - Glenn
