Do I need to change my oil yet?
I last changed my oil with Mobil 1 20-50 New Year's 2009. Since then I (ashamedly) have only driven about 700 miles, but at least some of them were a single 20min track session in 50* temps. So I'm left wondering, do I need to change the oil, simply because it's been a year and a half? Or am I OK? If I do need to change, I just found a local Brad Penn dealer who has a stash of 20-50 at $5/quart. After reading up here I'll switch to that for the next change.
Thanks for your thoughts.

I think it's worthwhile to change oil at least once per year, even if not many miles have accumulated. Acid byproducts of combustion accumulate...and sit, microscopically etching away at metal bits. That's my 2 cents, at least.

I agree with Noah930. Change it once a year regardless of mileage to remove any condensation, acids, additive breakdown, whatever thats accumulated in the oil.
