exhaust advise
In the next week I am going to swap out my stock cat/exhaust, and 3DLZ . I am going to install K-27, B&B dual out muffler. Will this install have any heat effects on the bumper? I do not know if the stock heat shield can remain with the aftermarket muffler. Should I install a heat shield/pad? Or will this free flowing system actually run cooler than the stock application. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks Philip

It should work with the stock heat sheild. That said, it can still get hot.
My GHL's with a B&B single outlet muffler and K27-7200 (or HFS, can't remeber) got hot enough at the track to melt the left side bumperette at the bottom. |
