never seen that one before. some kind of generic wheel? The horn button looks like someone stuck a Porsche sticker on it.

Thanks guys, I guess your eyes are better than my old ones. I was hoping it was a nice embossed horn button. I'm just looking for a nice aftermarket one for my 87'. Any ideas?
Thanks, Geoff |

It is a Personal Fittipaldi - after Emerson Fittipaldi. That is an image of his helmet on the bottom spoke. It came out in the early 80's around the time of the MOMO Corsa. Here is a link to the current version
http://www.nardipersonal.com/personalcatalog.html You can probably find one like the pictured above on ebay or you may want to get a MOMO or OMP version. |

Thanks 57 300sl. I went to the site and there it was...sans the helmet logo, though. You were right, too, 930 zip. Thanks again.

That is a Fittipaldi- I got one with brown, tainted leather.
Nice wheel when it is in good condition like yours.

I remember when those wheels came out around '81.
They were the first or among the first wheels to have thumb slots at 9 and 3 o-clock. The small porsche emblem in that vintage horn button could be popped out from the backside after taking the button apart and another car make emblem could be purchased and you just pressed it in to change it. |
