Stage two proto chip
I have a stage two chip that I traded for a while back. I am thinking it may be too agressive for my low boost application; .5bar or so. Any opinions? Anyone have a stage one that wants to upgrade and trade?
thanks, Ben

nahhh..there are some conversion guys hanging around. Not all of us were lucky enough to buy the right car...some of us have to chop, cut and build it.

CIS...Chip Isn't Standard. Sometimes I sure wish I could be a chip off the ol' block, but I'm stuck with CIS vs. EFI.

Hey Ben,
I'm a fellow Turbo Carrera guy. Todd from Protomotive will actually customize the chip for you, according to your specific setup. For example, I started out by requesting a Stage 1 chip for him, and I mentioned that I was dropping the compression to 8.0:1, twin plugging, .7 bar, etc. Then he mentioned that he would just customize the chip for me. The price came out to be the same. Actually, when I installed the chip that I first got from him, my car was running very poorly. I gave him a call and reviewed the specs of the car with him. He was able to tell me over the phone that he programmed it incorrectly, so I sent it back to him and he fixed & returned it in a hurry. I'd suggest giving Protomotive a call and asking to talk to him. I think it's less than $100 to have it reprogrammed, and you'll have the satisfaction of knowing that it's customized!
