Question Where is the Sump?
I saw this picture on ebay and noticed there is no Sump Plate... Is this typical of a certain type of block?

Just curious... Thanks

That is normal for 930s. Sump plates are for commoners with Carreras.

Early 930's had a sump plate. Not sure when they stopped. Maybe 83-84?

1987 doesn't.

Get that man a beer! '84 was the first year of the non-sump plate engine. Also, first year of the infamous oil fed chain tensioners.

I would say '84 as well. '85 the Carrera came without it. Edit - you just beat me to it. Had a phone call before posting... Oh well. Hahaha
