Dont buy that pulley and trigger I got mine and it was off by 10 degrees. Go with Clewett doesn't cost much more

I say if the parts are crap.... no matter where they came from or who made them, I want to know about it! We already have to pay the P-tax upcharge on many parts. I am sick of buying crap parts... So, I say lets have more of it....

And for those that make very good parts, I feel that we should let everyone know as well.

If it bothers you.. then skip past this post and dont read it!

Thank you! I promise I am not out to bash anyone that takes care of their customers and puts out quality parts I take into account that I may have just gotten a rare bad part but in this case he routinely puts out shoddy parts and he will not take care of his customer because he is mad at me and thinks I am bashing him. He did send a replacement part to sundevil64 but I feel he would have never done that without the neg. press he was getting on that thread. Once the part is on the motor and installed it is an expensive proposition to remove or even photograph said part so he just accuses me of cussing at him and lies about me contacting him about it well I contacted him about it now and he refuses to make it right so I say buyer beware! If I continue to post on these threads that Goingsuperfast.com has parts evenually it will start showing up on google that this guy is shady and he will lose business until he starts either putting out quality parts or takes care of his customer service requests. I have made my point now and will not post anymore on this thread. Turbo nut feel free to ignore me I don't think I will have anything to assist you on.

gents,

always happy to hear feedback and peoples views of vendors - i did after all post a question asking for peoples input!

gsmith660 - is your problem that the parts were badly made or that GSF customer service sucks? (or both?) it doesn't really matter to my EFI system is the trigger wheel is out as i can always tune the Motec to suit!

turbonut - thanks for your input and PM

i do note that GSF have quite a good feedback record on ebay

I am wondering what was off with the crank pulley? was the TDC mark on the pulley 10 degrees off? or was the missing tooth off?

Yes it is both and the trigger was out beyond the limits of megasquirt and I want to comment about feedback and ebay it really is not representative of how a vendor really is as there are others that have 100% pos. feedback and are screwing people right and left (ie VMC) so I wouldn't go by that.

The missing tooth was off I think I won't know for sure until I get a good trustworthy pulley and trigger he says he asked me for the ecu type but I never got that I ordered via internet and never had any correspondence with him (his phone number is Japan by google search so all had to be via email) until the order came in incomplete and then the part that was missing was incomplete in my opinion and rather than giving me the oring he told me to reuse the one off my old dizzy or the one in some rebuild kit which I didn't have then he sent me a VR sensor I didn't need and told me I was being ungrateful for him sending me a part I didn't need instead of the part I needed. It seems that a megasquirt/EDIS setup is 10 deg. off of other systems but the megasuirt software only can correct 12 deg. of error and at 10 deg. my car starts running bad at 12 deg. it wont run at all so I adjusted my spark map to read the same as the timing light. Now I have said enough it is all out there and I don't want to get into a big drawn out battle with al here like I did on that intercooler thread.
