Whatcha think about these injectors???
For the EFI guys: I have a few drag racing buddies down here in GA who swear by these... They say that they picked up several HP buy switching to these.
They are expensive... about twice the cost of regular injectors of the same size, but these are individually hand built, CNC made, and are completely flow matched as a set..... Home Page Moran Motorsports: Products

Damn, 500 lb/hr injectors X 8 (I'm sure these were intended for the V8 crowd)! That's a lot of fuel!

Yea, they actually go quite a bit bigger than that..... but they also make 80 to 120 LB injectors too.... in fact the owner just made up a set of high impeadence 120LB injectors that are sitting on the shelf... I am thinking hard about them....

For those who dont know or remember... I will be running a seperatemap for E-85...which takes about 40% more fuel.... hence the bigger injectors

That's a lot of injector.
How much power are you looking to make? Another option: We're running some really high quality 1,000cc injectors from Injector Dynamics on Tom's 3.5L EFI 930 and we're not close to running out of fuel. Idle at 850-900rpm and 15:1 is not an issue, either. They are high impedance injectors, and actually rated to ~1,250cc at higher operating pressures. I know of several cars making ~150hp/cylinder using the ID 1,000cc injectors and they aren't maxing out their injector duty cycle, either. Unless you're looking to exceed 900hp, it's another option and a well proven one, too.

Thanks Chris for the response.... I was thinking around 100 LB injectors at the max... looking for around 600 crank HP on pump and closer to 700 on E-85.... He can make me whatever size set I need... I am just wondering if they are worth the money. They look awesome..and I am sure perform just as good. I just know how much money I have spend and invested on this engine build... and dont want to skimp on things now....

Stick to the brand names like Bosch. The newer style Injectors from Bosch are very good and are alot less money. IMHO, its more about the ECU that drives the Injector than the Injector, if all things are equal. You have a really good ECU and the Bosch Injectors work really well with it.
