Cool Movieclip 241.708km/h Fasteast 911 on ice

Orsa speedweekend Sweden!

Its a flying kilometer on ice contest.

YouTube - Stefan Söderstedt Porsche 911 Turbo 243km/h maxspeed

My best timeslip Is.

241.708km/h average
227.560km/h after start km
252.454km/h trapspeed

I think that is the wourld fastest porsche on ice

The track was 3000m long 1000m acceleration 1000m (flyingkilometer) 1000m stopping distance.

The tricky part in this compared tramac (and salt) is that grip is wery limited so its
2000m sideways searching grip

I was total 3rd in the contest ( 2 Audis quattros was ahead of me the winner had 1000+hk) fastest 2wd and only topten car that wasnt trailed.

I think times will be official this week.

Car is 911 turbo-80 almost stock exept 530hp engine and some uppgraded roadhlding.

Best regards from Sweden

Nice. What kind of tires did you have?

There was a Audi RS6 that ran 206mph average a week ago in Finland. I'm sure there are other Porsches that have ran faster than you but yours might be the fastest with documentation : )

Pics and timeslips etc will come within some days and hopfully some incar clips.

Tyres i used is pirelli studed snowrally tyres.

The Finish records now Audi formly Bently is on much longer track totaly 5.5times longer and on totally flat ice.
(The record attempt was held on a 16.5km track on a 70cm-thick layer of sea ice off the coast of Finland. The record attempt was driven on a 1000m long section of the track, with the average speed of a run in each direction taken to calculate the record figure.)
