OIL Drip RECEIVER ?? - 930-78-3,3
Hello. I will mount an original OIL Drip RECEIVER
there are 2 types with number 930107001 04 and 930107004 01 What is the difference between these and what fits on my 930-78-3,3 Regards John |

The difference is USA vs ROW. The exhaust system that came on the USA in 1978 had thermo reactors with a Y-pipe that came around the front of the engine. The drip tank used for this system is commonly called the log tank as is long and skinny. The ROW exhaust system in 1978 used SC style heat exchangers and a J-pipe. The drip tank for that system is commonly called a kidney bean due to it's shape.
Either tank can be used with the J-pipe system but only the log tank can be used with the USA Y-pipe system. This is the log tank: ![]()
