Does this Turbo look right?

I am switching out the exhaust on my 89 Turbo and noticed the impeller looks a little strange. Thankfully it has no play up or down in or out. It also spins freely. It just looks a little burnt, as if it was getting some extra high temps. Could be normal, I just have no one to compare it to. No luck with searches....Its a K27 with about 15,000 miles.

Thanks

It looks good to me. My turbine wheel was a similar color but had some shrapnel damage from the air injectors that have been subsequently removed. The brown color comes from the burning off of the black carbon at high temps and it should have the consistency of a fine powder when lightly scraped off.

Yes, looks just like mine, see if you have any shaft play now that you are in there.
