Which rotor do you use with MSD?

I've burn two rotors now in a row. The last one lasted 25miles and melted. Now I installed one with 1kohm resistance.

I tried the original 930 rotor but IMO it was a too tight fit and when I got it down it did not idle under 2000rpms so I took it out and it broke while getting it out.

I haven't been able to find a resistor less rotor sofar but hopefully the 1kohm rotor lasts.

I also tried to dremel the one that was good for 5000miles but could not get any logical spots to solder any wires.

I've soldered a piece of thick copper ground wire from conduit romax cable across the top of stock bosch rotors and that worked and now i have one napa sells that is solid brass cross the top. It's only $4 but i don't know where i have the part number these days...
If i find that i'll post it or search napa.

Thanks, i could try to solder a wire on top of the rotor if the last one also melts. I just could not clean the epoxy and find any easy to solder spots on the one I tried?

I'm in Europe so napa does not work for me.

Thanks J. Good stuff for archives.

Anyone: Any other resistorless rotors other than that NAPA EP407? Can't find any online shop with those that delivers to Europe. Crossing finges the 1kohm one will work and I can buy more of those for $4 and try to mod it.
