930 chassis pros and cons vs 964 turbo...
Hey guys looking at a 85 turbo that was imported and federalized and then they had a 92 turbo body put on, used the tranny , intercooler, a/c.. custom exhaust and intake and enhanced kkk turbo....and some of the interior and the outside body panels and front and rear and tail..etc..
So what are the pros and cons on the 85 turbo chassis vs a real 964 chassis? Do some prefer the older turbo chassis...I heard it is a bit more raw..etc... I know the value want be as much as a numbers matching turbo for any year, but i am not buying one for an investment, actually this should be right up my alley price wise and i should enjoy it for a very long long time Anything i should look for... 85 chassis- 92-body for the quality of fitment? If I were buying the thing I would be looking out for frame damage. they where not always fitted with new bodies just for the new look.
