WTB 930 Muffler

Just bought a very nice 87 930. WOW! What a rocket! Great fun to drive, BUT..the exhaust is too loud for my neighborhood. A bit louder than stock would be okay, but the muffler on the car now sounds like no muffler at all too me.






Anyone have a single outlet dual tip stock or similar aftermarket muffler gathering dust you'd want to part with? Pics and an asking price would be greatly appreciated. There is alot I have to learn about the Turbo, so thanks in advance for your understanding if I don't get what you are saying or asking initially.

Also looking for a stock shift knob (black) and 4 speed insert.

For a minute I thought I was looking at my car. We just bought identical cars, with similar exhausts. You wouldn't want mine. Its a B&B muffler and header = a bit loud. I'm also looking for a quieter muffler to run with the B&B header. Tell us more about your 930.

My 930 is an original paint and tan interior 39k miles, two previous owners. No sport seats interestingly enough, but that is fine with me. All original except for steering wheel, shift knob and muffler. It's the nicest condition car I've owned to date. I have an 83 911 Targa that will now be for sale, nice Porsche but nothing like a Turbo.

I just installed a single out Fabspeed on my car and it is much more civil compared to the dual 4.5" out B&B.

I have read here on this site that those OBX mufflers are wanting/no good. I personaly don't know as I have never purchased or saw one in person but I will say from the photo they look ugly as hell.
By the way CVJR I removed an 87 muffler from my 24k mile car and it is in excellent condition. PM me if interested.

OBX has a lot of negitive and nutreal feedback I would be cautious before buying anything from him. I never dealt with him but have seen his stuff advertised

Nice Guards Red 930's!

Our host carries my mufflers if you are considering new. 321 stainless, straight through design for max power. Street version is as powerful as the Outlaw (straight pipe). You have options for sound level and tail pipe location.

And pray tell...what's wrong with that? I ride my Harley to work every day (when not driving the 930, that is). Yeah, it's loud, but my wife is quoted as saying that my 930 sounds like the Harley when I fire it up in the garage downstairs (I have a Fabspeed muff). Actually, the Harley is a lot louder IMO, but then I'm right next to the exhaust when riding it vs. not being behind the 930 when tooling down the road.
Thinking of going Zork some day, just to get a healthy perspective. Gotta compete with the local hispanic populace and their "illegal" muffs on their Honda's. I wonder if a Zork would be considered illegal (I think I know the answer).

Nothing wrong with it at all. I run a straight pipe off the turbo myself. I was just commenting that the OP want to quiet it down, not make it louder.

Lol. Add one more to the list of recently purchased Guards Red 930's. Although mine has black interior.

I am also looking for an exhaust. Not looking for straight pipes. Just something free flowing with a muffler.
