mystery bit
This bit fell out of my engine at some point while I was stripping it down. It is now back together and ready to go in the car. I just found it while emptying the drip tray I keep under the engine while working on it.
Looks like it might have something to do with an oil line?? It is hollow, slotted at both ends. Never seen one before. But this is the first time I have pulled a 930 down. Any ideas where I need to stick this back? Thanks Alan

Its OK, I think I can answer it myself. I had a Bosch fuel enrichment gizzmo in the fuel distributor line when I bought the car. I have since removed it - but it had an adjuster in the top of it that looked like this bit. It must have fallen out and lodged itself somewhere in the engine externals, and fallen out when I dismantled the engine.
Whew, no left over bits, and I dont have to find a home for this bit. Alan
