car idle's fine now (cold)? WTH !!

Not that im not happy(car was idleing low and rough (500rpm)when cold).
But i hate not finding out what was wrong.

I changed 3 things only.

1. put pressure on the intercooloer around the up-pipe once (k27 with adapter). possible leak/not seated right???

2. changed the O2 sensor (sorta did that first and didnt make a diff. on as 10 min run)

3. I have a cone air filter (changed from stock). The rich/lean screw was pushed to the right(firm). Cut a notch in the filter so it is straight up.

After them three, car starts right up and idle's like new.

Any ideas in what the issue was??

Yeah, because of improper installation of your cone filter your mixture adjusting screw was pushing down on the damn metering arm, making it rich. Solved....
