Hi Serge
Why do you want to modify the fuel head ? Just make an upgrade for fuel pumps .... you'll get much enough fuel !

I am currently using the 044 BOSCH MOTORSPORT (ref 0 580 254 044) in front of the car. ( And stock rear pump ) . The static fuel system pressure is set arround 7.5 bar. ( just need to shim the fuel pressure regulator). In the mean time, If possible , I also suggest you to use an adjustable WUR and/or to decrease the pressure control by 0.5 at (warm) wot. ( let's say arround 2.5 bar @wot)
With this setup, you will get enough fuel to reach safe 460 - 480 HP. Within my pending up grade that you saw on the french board and depending the 1st results, I think I will also upgrade the rear pump by the same 044 or by B 261 205 413 . It should be ok for 520 HP without changing the injectors. Thus , if needed, I still have the possibility to install the 3.6 C2T injectors to win 5% more. In all of case, an injectors matching flow test will help you to get balanced AFR between in cyl. ![]() PS: excellent l'amende sous la tête d'injection ![]()

Back to my project, and thanks Thierry for infos, did anyone use those BOSCH injectors as an upgrade vs stock injectors....? http://www.*********.com/mmparts/fuel_injectors/mercedes/560sl.html or http://www.***************/mercedes-auto-parts/mercedes-560sl-fuel_injector-replacement.html
Other question (Thierry ?)......what's the best source for the 044 fuel pump....? Thanks.

As to the 044 itself , I bought it to R.P. in france. ( I think with the Bosch ref, many shops can provide the pump to you ). As to the fittings, I bought these parts to SUMMIT RACING in US. ![]()
