Alright, I need to smog my 911s with 77 930 engine no catalist. before I was smoging it with no cat 2.7 na engine and it passed. Please tell me what I should do to help pass smog with my new engine? Should I lean it out first? Should I advance the timing? What? Thanks

Many states have a 25 year maximum smog enforcement statute. Does Nevada? If it does, you are home free. A number of years ago I did have a catalyst fabbed up with a Meineke type muffler just to use for smog checks in case you need it. As far as leaning it out goes...Yes, you will need to do that.

I'll lean it out then, at idle what afr would yield a good pass?
