VDO boost gauge install question
Did some searches and seems there are some problems with accurate boost reading on the gauge that replaces the clock. I have a unit that was installed by Andial many years ago on another car and I want to put it on my 930. I didn't take pics of how it was hooked up other than it was hooked up in the engine bay. Any suggestion for where to hook up in the engine bay for a 78 RoW 930? I don't want to do the brake booster thing. It looks easier, but I haven't seen consistently good results. Seems there is some "lag".
Thank you for the feed back. John

I used the one in place of the clock and it's plumbed to the intake manifold. It's very accurate and better than brake booster. I ran the boost line all the way back through the tunnel and into the engine compartment. instant response.

Cant see any lag thats worth worrying about with t'ing off the brake booster. I run a variable vane turbo that spools fast as anything out there and don't see much lag at all with this set up.

No detectable lag with my VDO gauge when compared to the digital one. Have analog plumbed to brake booster and digi to manifold...surprisingly accurate piece of kit.
