Any tips on changing rear fuel pump for first timer?
I should have about a half a tank of fuel in my 1989 930. Pinch the hose and change it fast?? I would appreciate any tips. I will post pictures for future pelicans.
Thanks!

You're doing the rear pump so it doesn't matter how much gas is in the tank and don't clamp down on a 20-30 year old fuel line thats probably started to dry rot unless you plan to replace it afterward. No need to do that to the line at the rear one anyway.
Unscrew everything replace the pump and screw things back together and check the voltage to the rear pump while you're at it. |

Thanks Oil, that link was perfect. The post from DSP was great.
J, your the man. I was really concerned about the gas coming out. I feel much better about doing it now. Pictures coming in the next few days. Once again, Pelican Rocks!
