EFI manifold question

I've been looking at various EFI setups for the 930 and have noticed that some use a 3.2 C manifold, some use custom, and some use stock 930.

Just curious: what are the differences/advantages/disadvantages, if any?

Cost was a factor on my motor. Then again the cost of a custom or fabbed ic was also significant. I'll try to post pics later. Currently sitting idle on I-40 in TN.

The 3.2L intake has bigger diameter runners, and also incorporates the fuel injectors and rails stock. If you use the stock 3.3L intake, you will have to buy custom Aluminum spacers to hold the injectors.... and when most people go EFI, they also open up the intake ports (although you dont have to), so the 3.2L intake is a natural fit.....

carrera manifold

I have done it both ways, and the Carrera is only slightly more work. Philip

So is keeping the 930 intake more cost effective without sacrificing potential increases in hp compared to the carrera intake?

If I had to do it again, with a mild EFI project, I'd go with the 930 manifold to avoid my IC modifications. That being said, I got a killer deal on my IM, injectors, TB, etc.
