I believe 14.7 is ideal (stoichiometric), off boost.

That's where I'm at with a little variation. high tens on boost.

Guess what?....I've been wrong almost a zillion times before. It's just part of being human. I should probably be banned from this forum but I'm banking on all the right advice to carry me over the rough spots! ;)

I may know that one number, but that's it. And, my car sure doesn't.

After a top end rebuild it still doesn't run right. When the shop got it, one of the things that was good were the AFRs - They were dialed in.

When I got it back, it was running so rich. Don't know why they didn't fix it. Anyways. I have been chasing this... Until I decided to check the ignition timing ( which btw was also spot on prior to rebuild), with a refurbed distributor from rarlyl8.
Guess what, it was way off. I have now adjusted it properly. Why wouldn't they do that...?

Anyways, now I can go back and adjust everything again. Including the CO adjuster arrrrgh.

Point is, if something is just not right. Think it over before you change something that should be right. Even though it has been worked on by one VERY experienced mech.
In my case checking ignition timing before touching control pressure boost enrichment etc. would have made it a lot easier.
I am far from a car that runs well yet

Lesson learned: Ignition timing has a major impact on AFRs as measured by the O2 sensor.

And all of this and the way the car drives makes me wonder if the cams are timed right???

The AFR targets I use:
13.5 Idle
14.5 Cruise
11.0 Threshold (0.3bar)
12.0 Redline 1.0bar
