930 Intercooler install question

Hi guys...Im installing a longneck intercooler on an 83 930. The stock IC has two outlets/hoses on the Rt. side that attach to the.... Im assuming aux. air valve. One of the hoses has some sort of electical valve or sensor too. The new IC only has one outlet on that side. The pics I have seen show the just the larger hose being used. What should I do with the other one with the electrical sensor on it? Thanks in advance for any help with this!!

The only sensor on my intercooler is overboost sensor connected underneath next to the the boost gauge sending unit. Usualy that second outlet on the right side of the stock intercooler is capped. Maybe you have something added. Can you take a picture of it?

I posted this same question a couple of months ago, it's some kind of circuit related to the a/c. It increases the airflow when the a/c is engaged. At least that is my understanding, i just plugged it.

FWIW, there is a 78-930 OEM IC with connection points.

There are few related threads on the forum; both hoses are emission control related and you could plug them both with minor adjustment

Thanks very much Doug for the info. That is exactly what Im dealing with. Think Ill try T-ing it first as my car idles perfect with AC on. BTW mine is a 83 euro too. Talked to some people with 87 US models and they dont know what Im talking about. Guess it might be possible this valve was only used for Early models ??
