BOV/DV question on Ruf intercooler
Hey folks,
I was fiddling with my car the other day and noticed that the factory bov/dv has been removed(probably by previous owner). My question is can I just add the 964 turbo elbow with a bov(Synchronic DV001x) and connect the output of the bov to this location on the Ruf intercooler(connects to the throttle body) ![]() ![]() thanks |

Hello, yes the 965 elbow will work but the source for the recirculating valve needs to connected before the throttle plate, I believe the Ruf I/C did not have a provision for this, Post more photos of your intercooler and the connection to the throttle body and we can suggest a solution , BTW it is not clear in your photos if that additional injector is mounted in a location that would satisfy the previously mentioned criteria,

Yes that would be a correct location , Finding a thread on nipple of the ideal size may be difficult, Maybe welding a nipple to the I/C can provide a solution, Possibly a elbow so that the hose coming from the recirc. valve does not have to make a very tight bend,
Hope this helps ,, lou |
