Teaser Vid for 935 Mag 5 Spoke Reproduction

Just finished refinishing the wheel for display purposes - restoring her to glory then taking her to the CAD shop to get the wheel reproduced!

We will produce them in a five lug pattern for use on a stock 930 - right now we are prototyping them in the 935 configuration. Later next year we will produce centerlock hubs

Wheels will be v nice, hope they're forged and the 5 lugs work with the design, that'll be the challenge...

Again - they will be from a forged stock, just as strong as any BBS forged wheel. And the 5 lug issue is already sorted.

We don't mess around. We're a couple months away from being able to offer these to the public, and are taking care of a few customers with the original 935 fitments prior to working on the 5 lugs just to keep things simple. These wheels will be on the blackbird - and if a 1,000 hp machine with 2 feet of rubber per corner doesn't break them nothing will.

Our goal is to offer one of the lightest & strongest wheels we can possibly bring to market.

What sizes are they going to be avail in? I know PS Engineering makes the 15 and 17's?

Are they 2 or three piece? weights?

look great!

They will be single piece monoblock wheels, nothing on weight yet.

Sizes will be 17 & 18 for turbo fitments, 16 & 19 for the 935/934 fitments.

And PS makes a wheel with an incorrect lip & spoke thickness into the barrel. These are perfect reproductions of the original wheel - and our 16" will also reflect the correct spoke thickness.

When we cut the first run of wheels I will report weights.

tire widths

What will be the offsets on these wheels? My car is setup for 6" inners all the way around and 4" outters front and 7" outters rear with the original BBS centerlok wheels. Might be interested in two sets of 16" for racing, Thx, Tad

The crank pulley project is now done and we're researching materials for the monoblocks for these bad boys. Will have a set for the Blackbird for RRIV!!!!! After that we'll discuss production in volume.

To elaborate on what Gabe said, in order to 'test' out the CNC operation that we have chosen to do the 935 wheels, we had them make the prototype of our 126mm 935 replica crank pulley. These guys passed with flying colors. The pix speak for themselves.

Factory 935 pulley to right of ours:

To see the whole story behind our pulley, go here DZ 935 Crankshaft Pulley - Fünf Gruppen Forums

We are anodizing them to replicate the factory 935 finish, and will have the first batch of these feather-light and super strong bolt-in replacement for stock 911 and 930 pulleys ready for sale shortly....
