Help me Identify a New Sound

Installed new RarlyL8 headers, K27 and Borla muffler this weekend and upon starting the car back up there was a new noise.

When the throttle is blipped, a single metallic click, or tap is heard, emanating from somewhere under/behind the IC. With an 11 year old enthusiastic about helping for a change (perhaps being asked to rev the engine, even if just a bit, instead of the "get me this wrench or hold this light" he usually gets stuck with, helped some) I was even able to feel the tap. If throttle is applied gradually, no tap can be heard or felt.

Nothing else was done to the car (adjustable WUR, and AFR gauge are next weekend) so I don't think it's anything I did. Still, this is me I'm talking about ...

Norm.

Kinda figured. I recall reading a some threads that showed a couple of ways of going about doing this. Nice timing; finally get a chance to install my new parts and now I get to dig right back in for something much less fun. C'est la Vie, I guess.

Just ordered the parts from our host. I'll add this to an already long list of Winter projects.

Yes, the final solution! Replaced those damn bypass valve seals twice in my ownership so I've just ordered a nice tubrokraft longneck intercooler so I can didtch that piece of equipment once and for all.

There's a couple of good write ups on changing the seals on here - not too big a job and one of the cheapest repairs ever if you DIY.

The good news is the job is much easier and quicker than what you just completed.
