'82 Euro 930 "062" WUR Question
Question: can anyone shed some light on the WUR used on the '82 930? My search shows the 0438 140 054 from 7/77-7/92 930.60 engines and 0438 140 112 for 8/82-8/88 type 930.66 engines.
Our car has a "062" WUR which comes up as 924T! The guy we bough the car from did say that it had a 930S injection set up from factory (Euro Delivery). Could it be that they used the "062" WUR as the base for a specially calibrated WUR? I have not been able to find any info on a 930S in the early 80s just the 930S that came with flat noses toward the end of the 930 run.

Hi There,
Just had my WUR rebuilt, I have an 82 930, the WUR is a 054 I guessing that the WUR is original for the car but not 100% sure. Jim |

Just heard from PO. Apparently that is a replacement WUR he got from a So Florida vendor years ago. He had cold start issues...I guess we are closer to solving the mystery.
Anyone have a 0438 140 112 core WUR for sale? |

You might look up a guy named Brian Leask. He rebuilt mine, and made it adjustable for different applications. This is time consuming(took about 4 weeks between shipments), but well worth it. I'll PM you his information if you like.

I'll have to look up the specs but we can probably set the -062 to -054 specs for you.
FYI - BL is no longer in business. Darn shame, he had a nice product.

I have a BL WUR on my hot rod Turbo but I want to try to keep the '82 "stock". Based on the engine # the right WUR should be 0438 100 112. If nothing surfaces I will use a 054 or 062 calibrated to the proper settings.
I got a PM from another Turbo owner running a 062 as a replacement. Ours came from VERTEX many years ago. I wonder if they modified these to 930 WUR settings. It would be scary to think that a 924T WUR would be too lean in a 930 at WOT. I guess best insurance is to run an A/F ratio guage to play it safe. Perhaps the 062 is the closest to the 054/ 112? Yes the -112 is for the early 80's Euro 930. The warm-up period is a touch longer than the other early versions and the pressure settings match the -037 steel fuel head.

I'm running with a Leask modified 054 on my '87. The only difference I could tell between it and the stock unmodified WUR is that the warmup period seems a tad shorter with the 054. My original WUR is a 153, for what it's worth.

BL is out of business?! When did this happen? I got my regulator from him 5 months or so ago! That's too bad....
