Original rear Bosch fuel pump for 930 on classifieds
I'm selling a good quiet smooth running German made original rear fuel pump from a 930 over on the classifieds, $125 shipped with tracking number. They don't make them in Germany anymore so if a nice original one is wanted here it is.

I'm interested. Aren't the front and rear the same? Anyway, any guesstimate on how old, miles, hours on this thing? $$$?
Thanks Gary |

If you click on the link I pasted it will go to my for sale post on the classifieds. The link is blue on my screen. I'm asking $125 with 2 to 3 day USPS priority mail shipping with tracking number to anywhere in the states included. This pump is around $300 new and the new ones are not made in Germany anymore.
The inlets and outlets on the front and rear 930 pumps are different. You could use the rear one in the front if you put a 12mm hose fitting on the inlet and check valve/banjo bolt with cap nut on the outlet like the one on the front pump has but you could never safely install a front 930 pump in the rear because the inlet is for a push on hose from the gas tank with a hose clamp on it. You need a threaded fitting for the inlet on the rear pump. I bought this pump a few years ago and had it in my car for a couple years and it works fine. I don't know the mileage on it but it's in good condition and they last a long time. They are lubricated and cooled by the fuel flowing through them. It runs smooth and quiet with no loud buzzing or anything. From my experience the older ones made in Germany and France are quieter then the new ones made in Czech Republic. I'm selling it because I put a higher flowing but noisier 044 pump in the back where this one was. If someone wants a good original rear 930 fuel pump that was made in Germany you can't get one anymore unless you buy a used one. I'm not using it now so I'd rather sell it than store it. I drained the gas out of it and sprayed some WD40 into each end to keep any residual gas inside from drying and leaving deposits. |
