So folks... today - July 1, 2014 - a little 6mos after Mark suffered his loss... the Recovery Fund stands at $13,100 and 117 supporters (~112 unique supporters, some double-down ballars!).

As you all know, Jacob has procured Mark's Phoenix to Rise, and as of this week plans are in motion for Jake to load Mark's car onto transport for haulage back to WA and HOME to Mark.

Your efforts and participation are greatly appreciated by the whole community who all rallied together and ensured this happened for Mark - while we "only" got 1/2 way there, we managed to change a broken man's broken opinion that he was DONE - out of the game. Mark is about to be back, and with a vengeance. Insured, of course 8-).

I am closing off the fund this evening, and will direct the net proceeds after Pay Pal fees to Jake this week.

And while many of us had hoped to look Mark in the eye and hoist a bier or 3 together as we celebrate his taking possession of the Risen Phoenix, he has professional and personal obligations which unfortunately have him unable to continue those plans. Ah well - one day good sir, we will meet!

Again everyone... great job with all of this. As they say, it takes a village... damn fine village we've got ourselves here gents.

Seeing our true colors flown loud and proud... makes me... well, proud. Proud to be amongst such a damn fine group of hounds. Keep up the good work out there everyone...
