Need 930 3.0 Intake System

I am looking for a early 930 Intakesystem with the Bosche valve on the side.

Please let me know if you have one or know one for sale.
I need it for a 75 Turbo

Thanks
Steven

I have intake manifold, recirc. valve and aircleaner assy. Not sure about the throttle body and metering assy, WUR. Etc.
I'll check what is available.

RarlyL8 11-22-2014 10:12 PM

I probably have the WUR and FD if you don't.

Tippy 11-23-2014 06:49 AM

Didn't "Robbbyg" remove his and put a 3.3 one on?

PTC930 11-23-2014 10:10 AM

at the Air flow meter is on the right side a Bosch Valve, so this is what i need.

Thanks for your response, hope somebody have one in the storage.

Greetings

Greetings

I'm confused, do you need one of the small plastic re circulation valves typically used with a custom inter cooler install?

PTC930 11-23-2014 01:07 PM

930

Sorry.

Here are some pics from the PArt, maybe this helps

RarlyL8 11-23-2014 01:29 PM

What is the Bosch part number? I have a bunch of those from 3.3L engines, may have one from a 3.0L in the mix.

PTC930 11-23-2014 01:58 PM

I have only the Porsche Nr. 930 110 115 01 or 930 110 805 00

But is from a 3.0 L not 3.3

RarlyL8 11-23-2014 07:39 PM

Bosch number for the 3.3L is 0.438.120.085
Don't know what it is for the 3.0L but it can be found on the metal tag.

JFairman 11-23-2014 07:58 PM

What is #2 in this diagram? The thing sticking out below the fuel distributor.
I've never seen that before.

That's a 75 only part with the solenoid on it like that, that's what they used before the auxiliary air regulator.

Speedy Squirrel 11-26-2014 02:17 PM

Are you sure? It looks that would hit the air filter housing on any 930. Also, how does it add air? Doesn't look like air goes into it or out of it.

lite75 11-26-2014 02:31 PM

Yes, I have that on my 75, it pushes the fuel metering plate down about 1/8" when the solenoid is powered.

RarlyL8 11-26-2014 05:18 PM

The '76 housing has a provision for the solenoid but it is not mounted. My guess is the manual throttle that is next to the e-brake did the job just fine.

Speedy Squirrel 11-28-2014 07:04 PM

Thanks. I have never seen a 1975 930. If you want to post some engine pics, I'm sure there are a lot of people here that would be interested in seeing the technology on such an early 930.

OK cheers, do you know when the 930/50 ceased production as far as chassis numbers are concerned?

I’ve not seen it published in print or on the web but based on the 1976 930/50 engine production (6760021-6760157, through October 1975), it should be around 9306700144. Porsche always made a few extra 930 engines per model year so #144 could off by a few chassis numbers.

That would be right around the time the 934 rolled out.

CFD 12-10-2014 02:13 PM

Yes, 934 chassis numbers were 9396700151-9306700180, 9306700540 so that would agree....

PTC930 12-16-2014 10:31 AM

Will get the Engine from Tien so dont need more Engine parts.

Thanks Tien.

chetv 03-06-2015 02:33 PM

I just stumbled across this forum. I have a new 930 CIS intake and fuel distributor. Bosch numbers 0.438.120.085 and 0.438.100.037. I have been cleaning some of our parts from our 934 and 935 racing days. Let me know what it is worth.
Thanks
