Hi all i am currently converting my 1981 930 4 speed to a G50 and I am wondering do I use the G50 torsion bars or the turbo torsion bars ... I installed the G50 ones and the teeth will not engage in the tube... I was going to use the G50 spring plates but now I am thinking I may need to get turbo ones... any help would be great...Paul

I did the G50 swap in my car but notched the torsion tube and went to coil over.
How did you do your swap? Did you use the G50 center section of the torsion tube or did you have the bell housing modified? |

If you use the G50 spring plates and torsion bars you will need to use the G50 torsion tube. The torsion bar splines are different from a G50 car. If by chance you need additional room for a six speed I have the parts you need.
