Another dumb question
I have my engine installed, liquids filled, and turnover procedure (oil pressure) completed. I have one rogue plug that for the life of me I can't find its home.
It should be real simple as it has a 3 prong connector and is located within about 6 in of the cdi connector. See plug circled in blue (this is a pic before the cleanup, it's the only one I have). Engine is a 76 3.0 turbo. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1426574951.jpg Any help identifying plug and its home is much appreciated. TIA |
Looks like one of the original alternator plugs for external voltage regulator. Maybe your alternator is one of the newer types that have internal voltage regulators?

You are correct I have the newer style voltage regulator. Hmmm I don't remember this hanging around unplugged...
Thanks! |
