Another dumb question
I have my engine installed, liquids filled, and turnover procedure (oil pressure) completed. I have one rogue plug that for the life of me I can't find its home.
It should be real simple as it has a 3 prong connector and is located within about 6 in of the cdi connector. See plug circled in blue (this is a pic before the cleanup, it's the only one I have). Engine is a 76 3.0 turbo. ![]() Any help identifying plug and its home is much appreciated. TIA

Looks like one of the original alternator plugs for external voltage regulator. Maybe your alternator is one of the newer types that have internal voltage regulators?

You are correct I have the newer style voltage regulator. Hmmm I don't remember this hanging around unplugged...
Thanks!
