90% of my stuff is from PP.
Hard to believe but sometime on small parts the dealer got the same price, so I usually check with the in town Porsche dealer first and then do my PP order. Also since I would not be driving a Porsche if it wasn't for this board, I don't mind paying more once a while.

^^^^ Not on items not stocked or even offered by PP it's not.

Has Porsche changed their policy? PP could order any Porsche part for you, as if they were a dealer. Has the new Porsche Classics program changed that arrangement?

Pelican can get 90% of what you need, *********** the rest.

I've cancelled two Porsche items that I'd ordered from Pelican, both due to delivery timing issues and added shipping costs from The Fatherland (Pelican quoted 4+ weeks delivery and beau-coup additional shipping). Called Sunset both times, who got the parts to me in about a week's time and with very little shipping premium. I support Pelican when it makes sense (which is a lot) but, helpful forum or not they still have to earn my business.

I always start here, but damn sometimes (often) their shipping expense is outrageous... particularly annoying if it's just a small order or a light bunch of parts.

Paul it is always best to call and order when it's a small part. They have used the usps when I rquested it due to shipping cost. So they are flexible.

Ronnie tells me that Paul is the authority on small parts.
