76 930 on BaT
4 bids, 100k and 6 days to go. I'm guessing it will be closer to 200k before it's over.

Looks fantastic.
Wheels contrast exterior/interior color nicely.

I've been all over this car in person. It is both unique and stunning.

Its a great car, but its not an original motor, which makes me wonder why the price jumped so quick.
I assume its because of the color, however it is a very clean car. |

Why didn't this car sell? Has the market softened?
I realize not original motor.

This example was high mileage, 169K miles. Interior, exterior, engine detailing done. Underneath showed all miles, perhaps a bit more. Rough bottom sticked out like a sore thumb, but it will be a small job to put right.
Auction was strange, to start with pennies and then bang, an early on a bid of $100K killed the auction. Wrong venue for this kind of motor, too. On Ferrarichat folks discuss a 1976 that sold for $214.5K this weekend 930 Turbo Carrera - Page 253 - FerrariChat.com Overall, think the 930 market is like an apple tree. Prices went up, you shake the tree first time and suddenly you have a lot of ripe apples on the ground. You shake it next time, fewer apples drop. You shake it third time, none will drop. Those 930's that have sold for $100k-$300k will never be on market again. Soon there will be left only owners who have not sold for $100k-$300k, which mostly means they will never sell. Now there are still some apples around, so grab one while you can!

Anyone interested in a 76 Black Black no sun roof 930 always fully serviced 11K miles from the original owner who has been a major enthusiast/owner of many interesting sport/racing cars all of his now 80 years. Shown and price only by personal inspection. Obviously over $300K. He even has an elevator from lower garage to lift into main living for enjoying his cars at his country home. This car is amazingly excellent and unrestored .
