8x16 Fuchs Front Fitment Question

Can the 8x16 ET 10.6mm Fuchs fit on the front hub of a 930 without a spacer? If not, does a 15mm spacer suffice? Also, I understand that the 8x16 ET 23.3mm 951 wheel does fit, though I do not have a set of these, thus the question. Thank you.

The 951 fuchs 8" wheel fits well within a standard non-turbo front fender.

I believe the 930 turbo front fender is 2" wider than the 911 front fender.

On the chart below compare the 7x16 and 8x16 911 wheels to see the added 1" or 25mm towards the fender lip. If you were to remove the stock 19mm spacer found on the early floating rotor 930s, then the outboard lip of the 8" wheel would only extend 6mm (1/4") farther than the stock 7x16 wheel, which you would hardly notice.

I believe credit for this chart goes to Bill Verburg though I'm not certain.

Jim2 - Many thanks, the chart is very helpful. Looks like a standard issue 930 rear wheel (8x16, et 10,6) may fit up front in a 930 fender. But I have seen posts here that it doesn't work. Will try and see. Have a great Saturday ~

I have 9x16s up front. Works fine. Saving up for 11x17 Braids for the back.
