They appear to be grafted, not bolted, hence my question.

I don't like the RWB bolt on, although the widths make me go gaga...

Looks like these, a cheap knock off of RWB.

Better bodies | Lupa

How are grafted flares cheaper than bolt on?

Anybody can hack flares off and bolt RWB flares on. Takes virtually no skill.

I agree. That car looks pretty cool. Its when they mold in the rockers that they've gone too far.

Yeah, sometimes I get the urge to go super wide with my car, but then I think about all the extra cost, new wheels/tires, bodywork/paint, new bumpers and its just not worth it. Its basically just adding a bunch of weight to the car with the primary benefit being that it looks cool.

When you have skinny-hipped, powder-snorting runway model type flares, you envy everything with some "girth".

Do see the point now about looking cheap, but RWB bolt ons look far cheaper to me.

I thought the bolt-ons were hideous when I first saw them but after seeing some 934s they kinda grew on me.

I always thought the bolt-on/riveted look was kind of neat like the 934's. I've thought about doing a similar look to my SC
A pic of my previous car:

Rauh Welt modified (still does?) cars with grafted flares as well: RWB 964 WIDE BODY and http://rwb.jp/rwb-style/rwb-930-wide-body/
Almost all the early cars had them grafted.

Opels are cool little cars. They are what got me into German cars. I've had several. A Kadett wagon, Rally, 2 Mantas and a GT. The little Rally was the quickest one.

Same here - pretty creepy hu?!?!

My first car, at age 14, was a GT . . . Dad bought it and I made $25 a month payments to him for a couple years. Bought a better one about three years after the first and that one was the first car engine that I overhauled. Almost every part for them, including engine components, were available from JC Whitney.

They are slower than the slowest of slow, but at the time, I felt like John Holmes driving the ole' Opel.

lol, hey my little Rally was quick. I once raced my buddies bone stock smogged out 305 Camero and actually won. That Rally could chirp the tires in 2nd gear every time.
