Aftermarket Recaros (Period Correct)
I was wondering how well these seats work in early turbos? I just purchased a set of sport seats and I have always kept my car original but I am getting into vintage seats. Something about these 1970s/1980s Recaros that are just right for any Porsche from the 70s/80s. Of Course I'm keeping my factory Recaros.

I believe that these are the same seats that came in tuner cars - whether Kremer or DP, can't recall. They work well and look...unique. I dig 'em.

FYI - If the upholstery is as good as it looks in the pictures that is a pretty good price.
I just finished restoring a set of 90's Recaro's for my other project and spent about that much by the time I was done. The factory fabric was as much as the used seats.

I remember sitting in and coveting those seats as a kid. Cool find.

Very cool! I'd rock those in my '85 Turbo.
There was a bb928 in my neighborhood growing up in Germany, he had a set of those in psychedelic print. I remember all the buttons on the thigh bolster. Popular in 635CSi and M6s, too.

If you decide you want them, just check his buyer/seller history out well because they are coming from Poland...

I had a set of those in leather in my 86 turbo. They are very comfy as they are infinitely adjustable. However, they are a little too big for the car. The upper adjustment knob is about .25" from the door panel. Make sure you grab your seatbelt before you close the door.

I have these in my '79. As Bryan says, grab the seatbelt before you close the door. A small price to pay for such a great seat.
