is this the 3 ldz connector on my k27
It never fails...always a little snafu to slow things down.
As I go to install my new long neck IC the turbo to IC up pipe hose is not. Since I have a k27 7006 in the car...I ordered the k27 hose. Upon closer inspection...it looks like the 3ldz top was welded to the k27 in order to maintain the stock up pipe to the Garretson Short Neck IC that was on the car. Can any expert eyes confirm what I believe to be a 3 ldz top on my k27. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Yes, that is the 3lDZ-style adapter for a K27 turbocharger - strange that someone actually welded it on, though. It looks like your new up-pipe is silicone? If so, easy to trim to fit, correct? Or is the diameter of the hose/up-pipe too small? Guess you can get an appropriately sized, silicone (or rubber) coupler then? |

there was no short cuts on this motor build....I am finding there was a reason for everything that was done.
Quite a piece of early 930 hot rodding by Peter Dawe. Fabspeed has a hose -.i have to swap it out. So looking coward to enjoying this car soon |

Looks pretty neat. They machined the inside of the compressor cover outlet. I like the k27 7006 and used to have one.
I have a Garret ball bearing GSX 61 with billet compressor wheel now and like it better. It comes on earlier, makes good power, and sounds nice doing it. |
