I put a short bell 930 in mine and have mixed feelings. Love that I can add power hate that it feels less energetic..

The solution to your gearbox woes is a Euro gearbox.

LSD, trans oil loop cooler, and longer gears.

I put the 930 short bellhousing tranny in my car and love it.. Had the 915 and it was useless.
My car is now EFI and the short bellhousing 930 tranny takes a beating, the negative is 1st gear is useless with big power.

Well I haven’t driven mine since efi and larger displacement yet so here’s hoping I love it more. Don’t get me wrong it was the right thing to do I just miss the short ratios.
