That ignition map has almost no tuning to it. It's flat as a board.
What compression, liters, plugs (twin/single), boost, heads/cams/intake? I'll post you one that can "help". |

I run high-40 degrees of timing at cruise RPM/loads. That's where your MPG's come from (of course with stoch or leaner AFR's).

I'm with tippy. Hope he didn't take any more than a cup of coffee! He's linear throughout. J get that thing tuned. You will be amazed. Both power and fuel economy.

its a 3.5 liter, single plug, 15lbs boost, Im not sure what heads, 964 cams, intake is a stock 3.0 liter turbo intake, ported to 37mm.

My vote is you are leaving some power and drivability on the table. Especially with the low boost #s

Oh man, you have a lot missing torque in part throttle areas.
I mean, a lot! |

The tuner only tuned the boosted areas from what I can tell.

Any changes you can recommend, until I find a new tuner in my area for full adjustment

First, do you have the ability to make changes? If so, sure.

Yes I am able to make changes. I know how to use the program and load the maps.
I have already made little changes.... thanks John

I spent like 30 minutes trying to get you a screenshot of my map off my MacBook. Some reason I forgot how to. I'll post in a sec from my iPhone.

CAVEAT, I'm not a tuner, nor has my car been tuned by a professional tuner. This has been all done by trial and error, following OEM curves for reference, and from help from a person who has spent a lot of time on a dyno using a stock CR, naturally aspirated 3.2.
DO NOT use any timing you are not comfortable with! What I would focus on is the part throttle areas - off idle up to say, 3500 RPM. This is the point I see your map needs a lot of work. As I've said, these are not professional numbers tuned perfectly, rather an enthusiasts attempt at a torquey low-end with great MPG's. Here it is FWIW (this is my conservative map, I have far more aggressive timing than this): ![]()

That tune will def. get you a much better car and mileage. Can you auto tune? As I am sure you know by changing the timing map your fuel map will need some love as well

The more I look at your map, the more I realize the tuner did virtually nothing. There's no way you have increments of 0.1 degrees as the RPM rises in the boosted areas.
I'd call the tuner on that.... ![]()

You have a lot to improve as far as timing and how that is related to fuel delivery both under light throttle (fuel mileage) and power (boost). I can tell you that Cory has spent a lot of time on the timing curve. Its a great start but you must modify for your particular engine. No two are exactly the same.

Thanks for all the advice. I called a friend who is good friends with Eddie Bello. I am going to bring my car to him and he is going to tune it for me..

Hopefully, Bello will tune it for max power, then the safe, conservative tune. 2 dyno graphs.
