What would you use for a stimulator with a MS3-PRO?

For what I could gather jimstim 1.5 should do the trick as it has a panel where you can connect ms3pro wires. I could not find any stimulators that have ms3pro connector? Jimstim also has 36-1 trigger wheel testing.

OR

Would you just test the ms3pro with sensors taken out of the car. Trigger might be difficult to test that way but if all else works maybe the trigger is then easier to diagnose on the car?

Why would you need to test it? IMO, the JimStim was made for when you built one yourself. The MSPro is tested at the factory and should work out of the box.

My other understanding is, is if there is a problem, you have direct help unlike the non-Pro stuff since it's their flagship.

Techs will jump through hoops.

Ok, good to know. Just got my fpr, filters and injectors so I can sloowly start tearing the CIS stuff away and plan on where to install the ecu. Rear would be easiest to wire but it might be too hot even at the oil tank side. It would be very easy to unplug and sort out wiring problems.

Also got my bendpak 5000xls so that helps too.

If someone has usable ID1000+E85 VE and start up maps please let me know. 93 maps are welcome too as IIRC pro has dual mapping option.

You shouldnt need a stim for the mspro. The ms3pro fits perfectly under the seat in the stock ecu location. That's where mine is. I would not put it in the engine bay.

+1 with dos. Under the seat. Keep it out of the engine area

Mine is under the seat as well. I followed the same routing as a carrera. I went to the junk yard and found a nice wiring harness gromet that fit the hole that's already there.

Yep.....I have one just to test DIY MS builds, or troubleshoot a DIY MS that has issues. Built a couple for friends. Kind of fun to play with, but not needed for the MSPro, and the plugs wouldn't match up.
