Fuel Pressure Regulator
I am switching the CIS in the SC over to EFI (SDI). I have picked up Accel 44# injectors (I only run ~6 PSI boost). I am imagining I need to get a fuel pressure regulator to knock the pressure down to 45 PSI (IIRC). Do you EFI guys simply get a return type regulator, and ditch the accumulator? Do 930's even come with accumulators from the factory? (I suspect yes). I am trying to picture this setup in the engine compartment. Also, I imagine some regulators are better than others?
TIA. Any insight is helpful! Pat

You will need a rising rate fuel pressure regulator for boosted applications. I am running a cheap aeromotive, and it works great. You will need to ditch the accumulator.

Thanks scottrx7tt,
Does 1:1 rising rate mean for every PSI boost pressure, it delivers 1 extra PSI of fuel pressure? I see it supports 1000 HP. In my dreams!

Pat,
I have a Corky Bell rising rate FPR. Used it very little. Modified the adjustment pressure screws to knurled knobs so you can make quick adjustments without taking out tools. Let me know if you are interested. Griff (nj) ![]() Model 2035
