loss of rest pressure
Rest pressure drops to 0 within two minutes of shutdown.
New front fuel pump with new check valve. sp=95psi, ccp=41psi, wcp64psi in seven minutes. I have eliminated the injectors as a problem and have clamped the fuel line to the cs valve If the fuel accumulator was failing, will the sp drop also? What do I try next? |

Fuel accumulator is the likely culprit. You should be having hot start issues as well.

hot start is the problem.
If the accumulator diaphragm is leaking, will the system pressure be low due to the fuel leaking into the return line? |

unless it is a very very large leak the FP's can keep up with it as I have never heard of anyone confirming a drop in system pressure due to a leaking FA.
if you remove the return from the FA there should not be any fuel coming out of the bottom of the FA.

If you remove the return line from the bottom of the FA, wouldn't you expect to see some fuel from the return line?
