Anyone have an extra or used Cat to Muffler gasket?
Hey all, does anyone have a spare or used sealing gasket that connects the catalytic converter outlet to the muffler inlet on an 1986-9 930? Does not have to be new, good used is fine.
Item is #24 in this schematic. Thanks!

Gave me reason to look at my pile of stuff. I have a cat, but no gasket. Sorry, it would have been yours.

I thought it was weird you were asking for one until I looked up how much they cost, lol

Yes the price is stupid and I don't need a new one, it will be used for about 5 minutes. Biggest problem is no one has one in stock and I can't wait 4 weeks for one to ship from Germany. Apparently there isn't much call for these ...

Temporary use, do you have access to a lathe and some 3" steel bar stock? The actual part is 3.062" OD 3" should work and 2.40"ID and .63" wide. The included angle is 90 deg. There is about .04" flat on each side before the chamfer starts and about .10" flat section on the OD surface between the chamfers, this would be larger if starting with 3" bar stock. I think the actual Porsche part is solid copper.

Thanks!
Making one unfortunately is not practical in this situation.
