Electronic boost controller in Ruf manual boost controller body

Just trying to see if there is any interest in a electronic boost controller housed in an old school Ruf manual boost controller body? I made a prototype that I'm going to use on my 935 tribute project. Anybody have an idea what something like that would fetch? Thanks in advance. I'll try to get a pic up.

Uses 12 position aem trim switch. I also have these available in 0-2bar manual controller. These are Ruf style not authentic Ruf controllers as I don't want to misrepresent my product. Pm me with any questions. Cheers

Just having the trim pot in there is really cool, even cooler for those who have an EMS that can take a trim pot input

Thanks for the positive comments. I'm still trying to figure out a price point for these. I can also supply manual version for you cis guys. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Good job, Mick!
Billet 934/935 replica ones are in the works, we were developing them for Mick's 935-tribute car (and the 962 in the shop, and a 930/934 project, and...) but setbacks with the machine shop mean springtime until we ship them.
If you need one ASAP, get one of Mick's.

What do you envision to make this work? Trim pot to adjust the voltage on a boost controller? Send signal via ECU? I can think of several ways depending on the system.

An external boost control valve with a knob to adjust level would be pretty straightforward. I really like the idea of putting the electronics in the valve.

Chris, Thanks for posting that 935 replica. Makes me want to drive it.

Yes, the internal switch is variable resistance trim pot, the signal into the ECU for boost control. The ECU then controls the boost by varying the duty cycle to an electronic valve.

We usually use an AEM trim switch for controlling 3+ boost levels, and had planned for that in the first E-MBC design, but we've now found nicer switches that also allow for limiting the number of positions.
Don't need 10 boost level settings, or only 4 are used and the other 6 are all the same?
No problem, the switch can be set to have as few as 2 positions.
