AAR hose collapsing

The hose between the AAR that goes to the back of the motor into the intake collapses sometimes, is this normal? Should I replace it with a thicker walled hose?

Shouldn't that hose be steel reinforced ? Part # 930 110 335 00 listed for a 930/66 engine

Interesting, i assumed it was a factory hose on it but perhaps it is not, it is a rather soft squishy hose, the kind Rawknees would frown at.

Maybe grind some of these up and rub the powder on the squishy hose?!?!

The part supersedes to a C2T hose, and that is 2-ply reinforced.

OK, thanks fellas, I just remembered my AAR is not in stock location the hose comes off the back of the AAR takes a sharp left turn and is about 8" long, (twice the length of Rawknees hose). I may recreate it with a reinforced hose I have, along with a plastic or aluminum 90 degree elbow and short hose section to go into the AAR. Probably my best solution as I doubt a stock hose will work.

I have the same issue with my hose - and I am pretty sure that bit is all stock - about the only bit that is..
I could not find a suitable substitute, so what I did is put a tight sleeve of another hose (about 20mm long) at the point it was collapsing - to try and wedge it open , at least a bit.

Check PM box for refuting pictorial evidence, PullinMyPuddy (only make sure no family or friends are within eyeshot of your computer or phone screen ).
