My old n.a. '75 Carrera race car
While searching for photos of a Mexico Blue DP935, my color choice for the DP, I ran across an old Excellence article on our '75 Carrera race car. You never know where those Google searches will lead to.

Cool article Harold. Luv that car and I'm building one similar also with the prettier early Carrera tail. It's been said the prototype Frankfurt/Paris 930 tail had a slightly larger rear rubber than the production cars that is hard to detect. It isn't giant the rsr type one it wears today but sized somewhere between the two.
I was also thinking removing my rubber and replacing it with a custom built slightly larger one. Any more good photos of your larger custom tail? |

I made a two piece mold off the stock tail and made the lip 1" taller. I sprayed it with SEM trim black. It looked like a rubber tail.

A local guy bought it a few years back and took it back to NorCal for track days.

I use to build custom gauges as a hobby.
