2.7 911S engine compression
I’m looking to buy a 2.7L 911S engine out of a 1975 model. The compression is between 132-148. Currently running good with WEBER 40mm with 36mm Ventura’s, tuned for the 2.7 engine. I would be purchasing this engine to put in my 914. How do you feel about this engine vs 2.4 or 3.0 or 3.2. I CAN PICK it up for about $4,000.00

The compression is good, carbs are half the value and 4K is a down payment on a 3.0/3.2.

Thanks again for your comments, from watching the price of 2.7s, 3.0 and 3.2s over the years I feel this is a good investment. Have a great day.
