Question 1977 911s 2.7 fuel distributor

I need to replace my fuel distributor. Does anyone have any suggestions on the best way to find the least expensive and most effective replacement. I was quoted 600.00 for a rebuilt one plus 1000.00 to rr it and all the injectors. I was hoping do it for much less. Are there any good aftermarket alternatives? I noticed Python has one listed for around $350. Is this a viable option.

Geoff, I don't know about aftermarket parts, but these do come up semi-regularly both here on Pelican and on Ebay. I'd keep a close eye on the classified board here.

I think I might have one at home. I'll check tonight. Do you have a part number?

$250

Geoff, if you're still looking, check out:
FS NOS 2.7L Fuel Distributor

I don't know anything about the part or the seller, but it might be what you're looking for.
Good luck,
Colin
